- Tumblr: http://disney.tumblr.com/ [last post: 4 months ago]
- Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/disney/ [last post: 4 hours ago]
Analysis: Disney has a great website as well. It has similarities to Macy's in the aspect of organization. But I actually enjoyed the messiness of the website. So many character faces and colors was eye candy and I was pulled in looking at ticket prices! Very impressive. The social media aspect was very much the same, very cute and colorful.
Summary:
I picked these 5 websites because I enjoy them and wanted to look at each individual one in depth. I found it fairly easy to find their social media links. Every single website had all of the links at the very bottom of the webpage. The 3 social media platforms all of these businesses have in common are Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. That does not surprise me at all. In my opinion, these 3 social media pages are absolutely crucial if you want to expand your business clientele.
I enjoyed looking at the similarities and differences in each business. Macy's and Anastasia Beverly Hills had a lot in common due to the audience that they both strive to "reel-in". The pages were all very feminine, although they are both not entitled to a specific gender; they do aim towards femininity. Life is Beautiful had similarities to both Disney and Health-Ade Kombucha. With Disney, Life is Beautiful's audience is family, children, couples etc. basically anybody. They both share similar pictures in their social media: Family, smiles, ticket prices, costumer memories at their location, rides etc. With Health-Ade Kombucha, gathering of people and food is their main focus. Life is Beautiful Festival has a great amount of culinary art pieces from years ago and they also show what is to come. Health-Ade shows recipes, people together, laughs and fun. This ties them both together.
The frequency of posts is on a daily basis. Some businesses were even hourly updates. This tactic is great on social media. Keeping the audience updated every few hours is key to more sales. Whether it be actual items they are trying to sale, recipes, mini movies, or different unique features of the company, the way the businesses organize themselves and represent their brand is very well done. In conclusion, all of the businesses that I chose have great social media pages that are well operated. I can say that they were all very eye pleasing!

Not only do I like this post because of the organization and wording, but also because I similarly like the brands. I recognize anything from Macy's when I see it, and Disney is a powerhouse business that I do not believe will ever go under or seize production and/or operations. I love the brand images and mission statements for these businesses as well. Great picks !
