Week 7A: Facebook Strategy

For this assignment I chose to like the following pages:

Peet's Coffee
Starbucks
Carlsbad French Bakery Cafe
Big Bites Pastries, Cakes, and Cafe
Tierra Mia Coffee Shop 
Dee's Coffee Company 
Pastry World Mexico

I chose 2 large, well known coffee corporations because I wanted to get insight on how the "big guys" run their page. Everything is well organized and they are constantly sharing and post information. They have a lot of quality pictures and I belive that attracts alot of customers. 

I also chose 2 local coffee shop companies. I did this so I can see the major differences between the small companys versus the large ones. I did find many differences and I feel like this is good way to give myself a push towards a more successful layout for my page with good quality pictures, videos, constant great posts etc. 

The last 3 I chose were also small coffee shops, the only difference with these companies and the last two I just mentioned in that these are Mexican owned. The reason why I decided to look at the pages is because I wanted to see the differences between owners with the Mexican backround compared to American. I found it very interesting to see the marketing differences in their pictures and also their speaking styles. It was also cute to see the different type of pastries they have.
